Swatch Information Panel - An Overview

The Swatch Information panel provides color-editing capabilities together with color information about the swatch. The Swatch Information panel is broken into three modes:

Details Mode: In this mode you can name the swatch and write notes about the color. You can also view details about its color properties, its source, along with a record of the dates on which it was created, last modified and last used. For more information see Naming Color Swatches.
Color Adjustment Mode: In this mode you can modify the swatch’s color component values and color space. For more information see Adjusting Color.
History Palette Mode: In this mode you can access an earlier version of a color swatch. For more information see Reverting to a Previous Color with the History Palette.

Swatch Information Panel

To view the Swatch Information panel for a color swatch:

Move the cursor over the swatch you wish to view.
A blue and white icon – –will appear in the top left corner of the swatch.
Click on the icon. The Swatch Information panel will open.
