Moving a Color Swatch to the Trash

When you remove a color swatch from a palette it is placed into the Trash. The Trash is best described as a holding palette where swatches can either be retrieved – by being placed back into a palette – or permanently deleted.

The Trash in Tangerine works similarly to how the Trash folder works in OS X.

To move a color swatch to the Trash:

Hold down the 'control' key while clicking the swatch you want to remove. A contextual menu will appear.
Select the 'Trash' menu item. The color swatch will be moved to the Trash.
