Dragging and Dropping a Color from a Color Well

Many applications built for OS X – by Apple and third party developers – use the Color Well controls to set colors in their applications. A Color Well usually appears as a rectangular button inside which the selected color is displayed (see diagram below). In most cases, the color displayed in a Color Well can be dragged and dropped into the active palette in Tangerine's Palette window.

To drag and drop a color from a color well:

If the Palette window is not visible, select the 'Show Palette' menu item from the Tangerine menu.
Position the cursor over the Color Well in the application you are working in.
Hold down the mouse button and drag the color from the Color Well to the Palette window. Release the mouse button to drop the color onto the palette.
