Hiding and Showing the Palette Window

Tangerine's Auto-Show and Auto-Hide capabilities are designed to make the Palette window disappear when not required and reappear when needed.

When Auto-Show and Auto-Hide are enabled, the Palette window will:

  • automatically hide when an application becomes active that does not have an Actions Library or Custom Profile assigned to it.
  • automatically open when an application becomes active that does have an Actions Library or Custom Profile assigned to it.

By default, both Auto-Show and Auto-Hide are enabled.  You can enable or disable these options in the 'Window Settings' window. For more information see Window Settings – An Overview.

To open the Window Settings window, select 'Settings… > Window Settings' from the Tangerine menu.
