Color Spaces

A color space specifies the gamut (or range) of colors that can be produced using a specific color model. Color spaces are color model specific and there are usually several color spaces for each color model. In Tangerine, a color profile is used in combination with a color model to define a color space.

The term 'Color Space' appears heavily in the Tangerine help documentation. Readers should be aware that it often refers to the color model – as a color space identifies a color model.
