Window Settings - An Overview
The Window Setting window contains options for controlling the Palette window's
position and visibility.

Window Settings
Auto-Show
Auto-Show makes the Palette window automatically appear when the active application
has an Actions Library or Custom Profile assigned to it.
When Auto-Show is enabled, there are two configurations available:
- 'Only show if last time the Palette window was visible':
When switching between applications, Tangerine will remember if the palette
window was displayed or hidden last time the application was active. If
the Palette window was displayed last time, the Palette window is displayed.
Enable this option if you are continuously switching between applications
and the palette window is becoming distracting.
- 'Always show for applications that have Actions Libraries or Custom
Profiles':
The Palette window will always appear regardless of whether the Palette window
was visible last time or not.
Auto-Hide
Auto-Hide makes the Palette window automatically hide when the active application
does not have an Actions Library or a Custom Profile assigned to it.
When Auto-Hide is enabled, there are two configurations available:
- 'Hide with all applications without Libraries or Profiles':
Whenever the active application does not have an Actions Library or Custom
Profile the Palette window is hidden.
- 'Hide with applications in the list below':
Automatically hides the Palette window when an application specified in the
list becomes active. Applications can be added or removed from the list
by using the 'Add' or 'Remove' buttons in the Window
Settings window. Alternatively, you can add the active application to the
list by selecting 'Auto-Hide '[application name]'' from
the Tangerine menu.
Position
You can set the position of the Palette window for each application you use.
This means whenever you launch an application or switch between applications
the Palette window will automatically be repositioned to the location the palette
was in last time the application was active. To shift the Palette window, drag
it by the window bar to the desired position.
