Modifying Event Action Pairings

It is recommended that you read Using Tangerine with your Favorite Applications before continuing as it provides an overview of Tangerine concepts and terminology.

Event Action Pairings are defined and modified in the Actions window. For more information see The Actions Window – An Overview.

When you modify Event Action pairings it is important to remember:

Not all Event types are supported in every Actions Library.
When configuring a Custom Profile you must choose Actions that will work with the application the profile was created for.
Actions Libraries are application-specific. With the exception of the Default Actions Library, an Action Library only contains Actions that can be used by the applications it has been created to support.
Applications that do not have Actions Libraries or Custom Profiles will use the Default Actions Library.

To modify Event Action pairings:

Open the Actions window by selecting the 'Actions' menu item in the Tangerine menu. Alternatively, click the 'Open Actions' icon – – in the Palette window toolbar.
In the Libraries and Profiles list, select either the Actions Library or Custom Profile that contains the Event Action Pairings you want to change. Once you have selected a library or profile, the Event Action pairings will be loaded into the Event Action Pairings table.
In the Event Action Pairings table, select the Event Action Pairing you wish to modify. The row of the selected pairing will be highlighted.
Choose an Action from the Actions popup menu.
Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you have made your desired changes.
